Post Tease: Campaign Scenario Reply with quote
Here's a the first scenario for a 3-part campaign I've been working on. Please take a look and let me know what you think of the layout, if any vital information is missing, or if the scenario seems too unbalanced.

The fluffy details of the scenario are intentionally vague, the idea of the campaign is to provide a bare-bones framework for the players to build a story. Players are expected to build themed armies, consisting of at least 75% same Cabal or Monster-type monsters (i.e., hellspawn, vampires, aliens, etc.)

The scenario sheet I present here tells the players what differs from a standard game setup; i.e., victim selection and placement is standard if it's not mentioned on the sheet.

Feedback requested!

Forgot to include the rules for "examining" the objective marker.

Objectives
Objective markers represent important places or items on the map. Objectives are oftentimes linked to victory for one or both sides on the scenario. A scenario can require you to do several things to an objective, each with different rules:

Examine: You must gather information about the objective. Examining the objective is a separate action that may be given to any monster that is within 2 squares of the objective. A monster can do nothing else on the turn it examines the objective. In order to successfully examine the Objective, a single monster must complete two Examine actions.

Essentially, a monster within 2 squares of the Objective must spend 2 actions to successfully examine the Objective.

looks cool so far, although personally I might make examining a tad tougher - otherwise it seems slightly skewed in favor of the defenders. Either that or implement a turn limit.

If the former, I would recommend saying that the figure must be adjacent, not just within 2 squares, and not just take an "examine action" twice but instead take an "examine action" twice in a row.

Can't wait to see Act 2!
