Background- This is the Flash. If you are recieving this, chances are you already know what we're up against. Black rings have decended to Earth and are raising our friends, family and enemies from the dead. But these Black Lanterns are not them. And they are not unstoppable. Green Lantern and his Corps have set out to destroy the source behind these black rings. That leaves us here to protect Earth until he does. These things are attracted to all kinds of emotional outbursts--- positive and negative. So first things first, keep your emotions in check. We're asking all of you able to shine---do it as brightly as you can.

Army Size-
For the living (HC (Heroclix)/HrC Guardians and/or Occultists)) minimum army size: 300 points.

Special Scenario Rules- We crave your hearts and your demise... The dead gain the following continuous power: VAMPIRISM- Whenever this monster inflicts at least 1 click of damage and is not on the green starting line, heal it of one click.

I'd freakin' LOVE TO... both in a HrC game like this scenario, as well as vs. the HC BN Starter... That'll be kick-@ss...
...sometimes some people, who shall remain nameless, bitch about the use of customs... Sorry, but that card of the Tree of the Damned is freakin' unreal... and when I did play it, I agreed from the outset that if the remainder of my army was eliminated, I'd concede, as I did... No, I'm not bitter...
edit: my ultimate hope (channelling my Blue Lantern-ness) is that someone, somewhere will give this a go, and LMK how well it works...

Hi!
Me and my wife tried your BN Scenario.
I played the living (400 points)
comprising of:
WoS Deadpool SR - 158
Vampire Hunter Vet - 75
WoS Nightcrawler - 86
AA the Question - 37
IC Jean Grey R - 31
Xpl Paramedic Exp - 10
(since I'll be facing overwhelming odds, I didn't held back the "cheese" )
My wife played the undead (800 points)
*she is an experienced table top gamer; she played MK, WH40K, HC back in the days
260 points worth of vampires from Horrorclix
540 points worth of zombies from Horrorclix
-notable fig was The Fiend
-total number of figs was 21
We both used Plot Twist cards. wifey had 7 (+1 from the fiend)
First 3 games was held in Castle Ruins map.
The living prevailed in all the games!
Short Remarks:
-a lot (but slow) number of meat shields for the undead!
-the map has only two areas they can use to move in, so I just had the Vampire Hunter guard the elevated area
while Deadpool held the castle ground entrance, with The Question strategically placed for her outwit powers and
Jean grey uses her telekinesis to put Nighcralwer (with a 14 speed) to aid in controlling any breach.
(I made sure Deadpool, Buffy & The Question have line of fire from each other)
-my forces have the advantage of range attack
-the plot twist matrix of r'lyeh was a surprise my wife gave me on the first game
(Deadpool thought he was slicing a zombie cop, but to his surprise turned into The Fiend! Good thing Buffy and
The Question was there to help the merc with a mouth )
-On the 3rd game she was able to break my formation and forced my forces to fall back (I lost The question on this game)
but my Paramedic was up to the challenge of healing Buffy while Deadpool, Nightcrawler and Jean Grey used the X-Men
Team Ability(limited healing thingie) to win the game
*I did remember I said I wasn't going to hold back the cheese
Then we played one game the Crumbling Mausoleum
The living still prevailed!
-range attack is limited on this map, my wife was able to navigate her forces with moderate casualties.
She was able to force me to melee, Buffy's martial artist, Deadpool and Nightcrawler's super senses
was the only thing keeping them alive from the undead assault
-also lost The Question on this game (she hated her for outwitting the zombies' toughness )
-My healing combo saved my team, I was able to outlast her forces in the end
We had more fun playing on the Crumbling Mausoleum
The next time we'll play this scenario, we'll probably beef the undead by using the Zombie
versions of Wolverine, Giant-man, Iron Man and Spidey from Mutations and Monsters.
Ah, excellent! (Cheese is good, at least IMHO.) Sounds like it played out about what I expected. I had visions of the Marvel Zombies from Supernova and/or Mutation & Monsters making appearances, and would certainly like to see how that goes. Is there any sort of "tweaks" I need to do to this scenario, or was it fun enough, as-is?
